blind side.

its the 3rd day of a week period of my mid semester break. Being me, i spent most of the time in the virtual world wide web. pages to pages. images to images. downloading this and that. bla bla bla. and last night. while waiting for the live feed of Chelsea match from the bridge,

which was won by the infamous Chelsex 4 - 1 btw, (Don't be offended, i'm a chelsex fan, its cool tho. Chelsex. how kinky it was!)

i watch the Oscar award. i am not much of a fans of this kind of competition tho. i admit, i loveeee movies, but not the oscar, academy, bla bla bla. seriously. i need to google about last night show to identify the name. i tot it was golden globe award tho. lucky me i google first. lol.

so during the show, monique won the supporting actress award from the movie Precious. monique portrays as precious mother in that movie. you got to love this movie. especially for those women out there. if i were a women (which i'm not and never be, i'm a pure man) i think i would be touch by the story. I've watch the movie 7 hours before. I randomly download the movie, because it was based from the novel "Push". which i never read before. and i even don't know about the novel and the writer.

to emphasize how random it was when i download the movie.

but, surprisingly the movie was interesting. no action, a story about a fat girl who struggling with her life. yes, I'm fat too, so it might sound a bit bias. but who cares. i like the movie.


Cristoph Waltz, won the supporting actor for the night. he is one of the star who plays the character of Hans Landaa, a SS Colonel in Inglourious Basterds. Hans Landa is a cruel, ruthless, charming, polyglot and diabolically intelligent Austro-German SS officer who is nicknamed "the Jew Hunter" in reference to his keen ability to locate Jews hiding throughout France. the character is too cool as an antagonist. but i like the character. A JOB WELL DONE TO QUENTIN. I'm Quentin tarantino biggest fan. eventho inglourious basterd doesn't win anything except this award. i still salute quentin job! the script for the movie is awesome. indeed!


Then, Sandra Bullock, won the Leading Actress award. it is for the movie The Blind Side. She plays the character of Leigh Anne (pronounced "leeiy and"). By that point of time, I don't know about the movie. never heard about it. through the nomination clips, I saw sandra with a african american boy talking about things. in my mind, i thought that movie just another american life drama.

And so there i was, watching the award. The Blind Side was nominated few times, then, for best picture award, I was lucky. I think it was fated for me to watch the nomination clip. What I saw in the clip is, a big fat guy, from a ghetto, lives with a white family. What i heard is, he plays American football. i started to find it interesting. so with some little effort, i download the movie and because it took like 7 hours to finish, i went to sleep.

the next morning, the movie has successfully downloaded. so, without taking bath, or breakfast. still in my blanket, i watched the movie. so i shall put my comments in the point form below:

• Its a lengthy movie. 2 hours 8 minutes. during those 2 hours i hardly thinking about the time. but instead when the movie is over, i was like, "this is it? thats all? should have morreeee!"
• During the two hours, I keep on putting myself into Michael Oher character. He is a big guy, left alone, doesn't have family, and struggling to study. Those elements is contrary with me. when he was homeless, i kept on thinking if it was me. how am I gonna to survive. then it struck me. That i should be thankful and fortunate to have family and doing well in studies. I should have not to complain because this and that. bla bla bla bla bla bla.
• Michael Oher is a gentle giant. He is a big guy who did not portrays aggressiveness. Just like me. (self proclaiming is healthy)
• This is embarrassing, but my eyes did release unwanted water from the tears gland. But in the least amount. Michael Oher runs from his foster parents house. He sleeps at the laundry house. his wardrobe is a plastic bag contains an extra t shirt. If he is hungry, he went to watch the volleyball match. Its not that he is a fan of volleyball and volleyball can satisfy his hunger, but, its the leftovers popcorn and coke left by the audience can fill his stomach.
• Michael Oher can write a poem. He is poetic.
• This story was based from a novel of a true story. written by Michael Lewis entitled, The Blind Side: Evolution of a Game.
  
• Real life Colline wasn't that hot. CIS!

So this is what i got for the past 3 days, how productive but such a waste of time. because no one gonna read this lengthy blog post. okay I'm done. I got a copy of it if you want. can ask me later. and also Precious. i got that too. and some other movies.

I like movies. not like, LOVE movies. but, not all. the movie must be a REAL movie. it has a big different between REAL movie and junk movie. a simple analogy. junkfood is awesome but without nutrient. unlike REAL food. so, watch REAL MOVIE ffs. tyvm. ciao!
